The New Rich
The book defines something called the “New Rich” (NR). The NR reject the idea of saving up for a retirement that you might very well never get to enjoy. Instead, they figure out how much the life they want to live for the next three to six months is going to cost, and do what needs to be done to generate the money and time they need to do just that.
Sounds odd, right? It goes against everything everyone has always tried to tell you about how to succeed in life. The nose-to-the-grindstone, scrimp-and-save, work-harder-to-avoid-the-life-you-want work ethic that seems to be the bedrock of modern civilization.
But it’s more readily accessible than you might think. In today’s globally-interconnected reality, it is easier than ever for average Joes just like you and me to create businesses that get paid in dollars, but cost rupees to run.
And that’s the crux of the 4HWW business model. Making it work is based on the acronym DEAL, or Define, Eliminate, Automate and Liberate. And, yes, it works…even for writers.
